Social Payments Funding in Ukraine
As of May 13, 2023, Ukraine has disbursed substantial funds for social benefits. Pension payments alone reached 37.6 billion UAH. Of this amount, 6.4 billion UAH was channeled through Ukrposhta JSC, while 31.2 billion UAH went via authorized banks.
Additionally, 3.3 billion UAH was earmarked for housing subsidies and allowances, 2.2 billion UAH for insurance payouts (including 0.9 billion UAH for sick leave), and 8.9 billion UAH for social assistance and other benefits. In May, the Pension Fund of Ukraine provided 667,700 services to individuals seeking support.
