Pension supplement for large families
In Ukraine, starting from January 2026, a certain category of pensioners will be able to receive a pension supplement of 900 hryvnias for special services rendered to Ukraine. This payment is intended for mothers of large families who have given birth to five or more children. As of December 2025, the amount due for payment was 873 hryvnias, but in 2026 it will increase to 900-910 hryvnias.
Conditions for receiving the supplement
To receive this supplement, large family mothers will need to personally apply to the Pension Fund. An important aspect is the possibility of early retirement, which is available to women from the age of 50, provided they have at least 15 years of insurance experience.
To apply for the pension supplement, certain documents must be prepared. Among them:
- application;
- passport and identification code;
- birth certificates (or adoption) for all children;
- documents confirming insurance experience.
These steps are crucial to ensure the rights of large family mothers to receive additional financial support in Ukraine.
The introduction of the supplement for large families reflects the state’s social policy aimed at supporting families with many children. This can positively influence the improvement of the financial situation of such families, as well as encourage childbirth in Ukraine, which is an important aspect of the demographic situation in the country. However, to implement this initiative, it is necessary to ensure proper informing of citizens about their rights and the procedures for receiving payments.
