Overview of Social Benefits Disbursed in Ukraine as of September 2023
By September 24, 2023, Ukraine has secured funding for key social payments, including:
- pensions;
- housing subsidies and benefits;
- insurance payouts;
- social aid programs.
The total pension payments reached 71.8 billion UAH, with 9.2 billion UAH distributed via JSC 'Ukrposhta' and 62.6 billion UAH through authorized banking institutions.
Additionally, housing subsidies and benefits amounted to 1.4 billion UAH, while insurance payments totaled 3.0 billion UAH, including 1.6 billion UAH allocated to sick leave compensations. Social assistance and other related payments accounted for 9.3 billion UAH. In September alone, the Pension Fund of Ukraine provided 1,030,900 services to individuals seeking support.
