Funding of Social Benefits in Ukraine
As of September 16, Ukraine has allocated funds for pension payments, housing subsidies, insurance benefits, and various social assistance programs. Pension disbursements alone reached 45.9 billion hryvnias, with 7.3 billion hryvnias distributed via JSC 'Ukrposhta' and 38.6 billion hryvnias processed through authorized banks.
In addition, 1.4 billion hryvnias have been dedicated to housing subsidies and related benefits, while insurance payments totaled 2.4 billion hryvnias, including 1.1 billion hryvnias earmarked for sick leave compensation. Social aid and other payments received 9.2 billion hryvnias in funding. During September, the Pension Fund of Ukraine provided more than 699,000 services to individuals seeking assistance.
