Фонд соціального забезпечення виділяє 41 мільярд гривень на допомогу громадянам.

Funding Social Benefits in Ukraine

As of May 8, Ukraine has completed financing for pensions, subsidies, insurance payments, and social assistance. A total of 29.5 billion hryvnias was allocated to pension payments, with 4.4 billion hryvnias disbursed through Ukrposhta and 25.1 billion hryvnias via authorized banks.

Additionally, 3.3 billion hryvnias went toward housing subsidies and benefits, while 1.9 billion hryvnias covered insurance payouts—including 0.5 billion hryvnias for sick leave compensation. Social assistance and other payments consumed 6.2 billion hryvnias. In May, the Pension Fund of Ukraine delivered 441,600 services to individuals seeking support.

Social Stability Amid Economic Pressures

These financial injections are crucial for maintaining social stability in Ukraine, especially given ongoing economic challenges. Pension and social assistance payments help sustain household purchasing power, a key driver for economic recovery. The use of multiple distribution channels, such as banks and Ukrposhta, also reflects the government's effort to ensure all citizens can access financial resources, regardless of their location or circumstances.
