Of this sum, 7.5 billion hryvnias were distributed via JSC 'Ukrposhta', while 33.0 billion hryvnias were paid out through authorized banks.

Expenditures on Social Benefits

An additional 4.7 billion hryvnias was used for housing subsidies and benefits, and 2.1 billion hryvnias for insurance payments, of which 0.9 billion hryvnias covered sick leave. State aid and other payments received an allocation of 5.4 billion hryvnias. In January, the Pension Fund provided 676.4 thousand services to individuals who applied to its offices.

This data highlights the active role of Ukraine's Pension Fund in administering social support during the first month of the year. The substantial total funding underscores the critical importance of this social safety net for the population. Maintaining these payments is a significant logistical challenge, especially during a period of ongoing conflict and economic pressure.
