As of July 9, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has disbursed a total of 30.5 billion UAH in payments. Of this amount, 5.3 billion UAH was channeled through Ukrposhta JSC, while 25.2 billion UAH went via authorized banks.
Additionally, 1.3 billion UAH was allocated for housing subsidies and benefits, and 1.9 billion UAH for insurance payments—including 0.6 billion UAH specifically for sick leave compensation. Social assistance and other payments accounted for 6.5 billion UAH. In July, the Pension Fund's offices delivered 446,200 services to citizens who sought their support.
The Role of Social Payments
These figures highlight the Pension Fund's active role in distributing social benefits and supporting citizens. Amid the economic challenges facing the country, such payments are crucial for maintaining the financial well-being of the population.
The high volume of services rendered also points to a strong demand for social assistance, likely reflecting the needs of the public during a period of economic uncertainty.
