Ukraine's Social Payment Funding Update
As of June 10, 2023, Ukraine has disbursed substantial sums for social benefits. Specifically, 30.1 billion UAH was allocated for pension payments, distributed as follows:
- 4.9 billion UAH delivered via Ukrposhta;
- 25.2 billion UAH through authorized banks.
Additionally, 1.4 billion UAH was funded for housing subsidies and benefits. Insurance payments, including sick leave compensation, received 2.1 billion UAH—of which 0.8 billion UAH was earmarked specifically for sick leave. Furthermore, 6.3 billion UAH went toward social assistance and other payments. In June, the Pension Fund of Ukraine handled 640,700 service requests from individuals seeking support.

These figures highlight the continued backing of citizens amid Ukraine's economic instability. The heavy spending on pensions and social aid underscores the government's role in ensuring financial security for vulnerable groups. The high volume of Pension Fund services also reflects strong public engagement in accessing social support, emphasizing the critical nature of these programs.
