Funding for Social Benefits in Ukraine
By September 13, 2023, Ukraine's Pension Fund had allocated funds for pensions, housing subsidies, insurance payments, and other social assistance programs. Pension payments alone totaled 37.1 billion UAH, with 5.7 billion UAH distributed through JSC 'Ukrposhta' and 31.4 billion UAH handled by authorized banks.
In addition, 1.4 billion UAH was dedicated to housing subsidies and benefits, while insurance payouts amounted to 2.1 billion UAH, including 0.8 billion UAH for sick leave compensation. Social assistance and other related payments received 6.5 billion UAH. Throughout September, the Pension Fund provided over 524,000 services to individuals seeking support.
