How the eYasla Benefit Is Awarded
Ukraine's Pension Fund has issued clarifications on how the eYasla allowance is awarded. This benefit serves as extra financial aid for mothers and other legal guardians of young children. Those entitled to it are people who were actively caring for the child and then returned to work on a full-time basis. Payments begin in the month after the child's first birthday and continue through the month in which the child turns three.
Returning to Work and Benefit Eligibility
Going back to a full-time job after spending the first year at home with a child does not disqualify a person from receiving the eYasla state allowance. When an application is filed within six months of the eligibility date, payments are made retroactively for each month after the child's first birthday. That retroactive accumulation, however, cannot start earlier than January 2026.
