August Payout Figures for Foster and Family-Type Carers Released by Ukraine's Pension Fund

Опубліковано дані щодо виплат у серпні для прийомних сімей та сімейних вихователів від Пенсійного фонду України.

Information for Carers and Foster Parents

Ukraine's Pension Fund has posted August 2026 payment notices in the personal accounts of carers on its web portal for e-services. The notices cover family-type children's home caregivers, foster parents, and patronage carers. Each notice breaks down the amounts separately for adults and children. The Fund says this information will be updated on a regular basis.

The messages are intended for caregivers raising orphans or children who have been deprived of parental care, as well as for foster parents and patronage carers who temporarily care for children in their own households. The notifications clearly distinguish between the sums paid to parents, patronage carers or their assistants, and those allocated to the children.

How Payments Are Received

Recipients can get payments for the services they provide as well as state social assistance for the children. Both payments are transferred to the bank account specified by the recipient, making financial management simpler. The Pension Fund plans to keep updating the personal accounts, allowing carers to stay informed about their payments and obligations.

The aim of this change is to make it easier for carers to access information about their financial rights and duties, which can help improve the wellbeing of children under their care. Regular data updates are also expected to increase the Pension Fund's transparency, strengthening trust between the state and citizens who carry out the important social role of raising children. In this way, the initiative reflects the government's support for family-based care models in Ukraine.

In light of the recent updates from the Pension Fund regarding August payments, it is important to note that the Fund has also allocated over UAH 90 billion for July disbursements. This considerable investment underscores the government's commitment to supporting caregivers and fostering a transparent financial system.
