Ukraine's Pension Fund Allocates Billions for February Social Payments

Систематичні виплати з пенсійного фонду України у лютому забезпечать підтримку соціально незахищеним громадянам.

Funding for Social Benefits

On February 2nd, Ukraine's Pension Fund initiated its financing for social benefit payments for the month of February and provided services to citizens. As part of this program, 0.6 billion hryvnias (UAH) were allocated for pension payments to be distributed through the joint-stock company 'Ukrposhta'.

A further 92.9 million UAH was designated for sick leave payments. On that same day, the Pension Fund also processed services for 69.3 thousand individuals who applied to its offices. These measures are aimed at supporting the social welfare of citizens, a critical function during the ongoing national challenges.

State Commitment to Social Welfare

The actions of the Pension Fund demonstrate the state's continued commitment to social security, particularly under conditions of economic instability. The regular financing of pension and sick pay is a crucial aspect of maintaining the population's financial stability, which can positively influence the country's social climate. This consistent support is vital for many Ukrainians who rely on these state payments.
