Pension Fund of Ukraine Financing as of May 2023
As of May 12, 2023, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has disbursed a total of 35.1 billion hryvnias in payments. This amount is broken down as follows:
- 5.9 billion hryvnias were distributed through Ukrposhta, the national postal operator,
- 29.2 billion hryvnias were channeled through authorized banks.
Additionally, 3.3 billion hryvnias were allocated for housing subsidies and benefits, while insurance payments received 2.2 billion hryvnias—of which 0.8 billion hryvnias went toward covering sick leave. Social assistance and other payments consumed 8.1 billion hryvnias.
Social Services Provided by the Pension Fund
During May, the Pension Fund delivered 591,000 services to individuals seeking assistance.
These figures highlight the substantial volume of social payments managed by the Pension Fund of Ukraine, a critical component of supporting the population amid economic challenges. By leveraging multiple distribution channels, including Ukrposhta and banks, the system ensures that financial aid reaches those in need efficiently.
