Social Benefit Funding in Ukraine
By October 5, 2023, Ukraine's pension fund had allocated payments for pensions, housing subsidies, insurance benefits, and social assistance. The total pension payments reached 17.5 billion UAH, with 2.3 billion UAH distributed via JSC 'Ukrposhta' and 15.2 billion UAH through authorized banking institutions.
In addition to pensions, 1.5 billion UAH was directed toward housing subsidies and related benefits, while insurance payments also amounted to 1.5 billion UAH, including 200 million UAH specifically for sick leave compensation. Social assistance and other related support received funding of 400 million UAH. Throughout October, the Pension Fund provided services to 175,000 individuals who reached out to its offices.
