August 14 Update: Social Payments Funded
Ukraine’s Pension Fund has allocated UAH 60.5 billion to social benefit programs, covering pensions, housing subsidies and allowances, insurance payouts, and social assistance. Pension disbursements account for UAH 46.8 billion of that total, split between the following channels:
- UAH 7.1 billion paid through Ukrposhta JSC;
- UAH 39.7 billion paid through authorized banks.
Beyond pensions, UAH 1.5 billion was allocated for housing subsidies and allowances, while insurance payments received UAH 2.2 billion, including UAH 0.9 billion for sick-leave compensation. Social assistance and other payments totaled UAH 10.0 billion. The Fund’s offices delivered 598,500 services to individuals who applied in August.
