In addition, 1.4 billion hryvnias were provided for housing subsidies and related benefits, while insurance payouts totaled 1.6 billion hryvnias—of which 0.3 billion hryvnias covered sick leave payments. Social assistance and other related payments amounted to 6.3 billion hryvnias. During September, Pension Fund offices delivered services to 227,700 individuals seeking support.

The Role of Financial Assistance in Social Protection

These funds are crucial for maintaining social safety nets in Ukraine, especially amid ongoing economic challenges. The Pension Fund’s active role in distributing payments and services reflects the government's commitment to social stability and support for vulnerable populations. For international observers, this demonstrates Ukraine’s continued efforts to uphold welfare systems despite external pressures.
