Funding for Social Payments in Ukraine
The Ukrainian Pension Fund has released its funding data for social payments as of February 8. The total amount financed for pension payments reached UAH 21.3 billion. Of this sum, UAH 3.2 billion was distributed via JSC 'Ukrposhta' (the national postal service), while UAH 18.1 billion was paid out through authorized banks.
In addition, UAH 2.5 billion was allocated in February for housing subsidies and benefits. Insurance payments accounted for UAH 1.6 billion, which included UAH 0.5 billion designated for sick leave compensation. A further UAH 4.8 million was directed towards state aid and other payments. During this same period, services were provided by the Pension Fund's offices to 361,800 individuals.
