Ukraine's Pension Fund Allocates 40 Billion Hryvnias: A Breakdown of April's Expenditures

Funding for Social Benefits

As of April 14th, the Ukrainian Pension Fund has released data detailing its social benefit funding and the volume of services provided. In April, the total sum allocated for pension payments reached 40.1 billion hryvnias (UAH). Of this amount, 6.8 billion UAH was disbursed through the joint-stock company 'Ukrposhta,' while 33.3 billion UAH was paid out via authorized banks.

Beyond pensions, the Fund allocated 4.9 billion UAH for housing subsidies and benefits, and 2.4 billion UAH for insurance payments, which included 1.1 billion UAH designated for sick leave compensation. An additional 23.9 billion UAH was directed toward social assistance and other benefits. During April, the Pension Fund provided services to 696,600 individuals who applied to its offices.
