Funding Social Payments: The Role of Ukraine's Pension Fund
As of January 19, Ukraine's Pension Fund has released data detailing its financing of social payments. During January, the Fund's offices processed over 816,100 services for citizens who applied for assistance.

The current funding allocation is detailed below:
- Pension payments accounted for 47.8 billion hryvnias, distributed as follows:
- 8.2 billion hryvnias were delivered via JSC 'Ukrposhta';
- 39.6 billion hryvnias were paid through authorized banks.
- Housing subsidies and benefits required 4.7 billion hryvnias;
- Insurance payments totaled 2.3 billion hryvnias, of which 1.1 billion hryvnias covered sick leave benefits;
- State aid and other payments received 7.9 billion hryvnias.
