July Update on Pension Fund of Ukraine Payment Disbursements
The Pension Fund of Ukraine plays a central role in the country's social welfare system, managing a broad spectrum of financial support programs. As of July 28, the Fund reported on the allocation of funds covering pensions, subsidies, insurance payouts, and social assistance. In July, over 1.25 million individual services were delivered to beneficiaries.
Of this amount, pension disbursements accounted for 74.4 billion UAH. Payments were channeled as follows: 9.3 billion UAH via Ukrposhta, and 65.1 billion UAH through designated banking institutions.
Housing subsidies and privileges received 1.4 billion UAH, while insurance payouts totaled 3.1 billion UAH—1.8 billion of which covered sick leave benefits. An additional 11.0 billion UAH was allocated for social aid and other disbursements. Overall, the Fund processed 1,251,300 services for citizens who approached its offices in July.
