Social Benefit Funding as of March 16
By March 16, Ukraine's Pension Fund had allocated more than 62 billion hryvnias for various social benefits and provided nearly 900,000 services. The total funding for pension payments alone reached 46.6 billion hryvnias. Of this amount, 7.7 billion hryvnias were distributed via JSC 'Ukrposhta' (the national postal service), while authorized banks handled the majority, disbursing 38.9 billion hryvnias.
Breakdown of Allocated Funds
- Housing subsidies and benefits: 4.6 billion hryvnias
- Insurance payments: 2.5 billion hryvnias, of which 1.3 billion was for sick leave compensation
- State aid and other payments: 9.0 billion hryvnias
In total, 890,000 services were provided during the month. These figures highlight the Pension Fund's active role in providing social support to the population amid ongoing economic challenges.
