The Pension Fund of Ukraine explained the changes in the system of providing benefits for housing and communal services that concern veterans of the internal affairs bodies. Due to the updated criteria that depend on the family's income, some veterans may be deprived of the relevant payments in June.

In connection with changes in legislation regarding benefits for housing and communal services, veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs now have the opportunity to use these benefits. However, in order to be eligible for the benefits, the family income per person over the previous six months must not exceed 4,240.00 UAH.

The Pension Fund clarified that since benefit payments are made for the previous month, citizens receive funds in June for May. Thus, if a veteran of the Ministry of Internal Affairs did not receive the benefit in June, this may indicate that his family's income exceeded the established limit.

Changes in the criteria for providing benefits for housing and communal services for veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs lead to certain changes in their social security. These new conditions are based on family incomes and aim for a more rational use of state budget funds.
