Ukraine's Pension Fund Introduces a New Digital Service
The Ukrainian Pension Fund has launched a new online service allowing citizens to obtain an OK-5 certificate via its official web portal. This document is legally binding and can be issued quickly and free of charge. This information was confirmed by the Pension Fund of Ukraine's press service. This move is part of a broader digital transformation of public services in the country.
How to Get the Certificate Remotely
To access the service remotely, Ukrainians must log into their personal account on the Pension Fund portal. Authentication can be completed using a qualified electronic signature or through the ID.GOV.UA or Diia.Pidpis systems. Once logged in, users can check the status of their request and download the finished document in the 'My Appeals' section. This digital process eliminates the need for in-person visits to government offices.
The steps to request the certificate are as follows:
- Log into your personal account.
- Select the 'Request for Electronic Documents' tab within the 'Communications with the Pension Fund' section.
- Complete the form, choosing the certificate type (OK-5).
- Fill in all required fields.
- Provide consent for personal data processing.
- Click the 'Send to the Pension Fund' button.
This new system is designed to streamline the process of obtaining necessary documents for Ukrainian citizens.
The introduction of the online OK-5 certificate represents a significant advancement in the digitalization of state services and simplifies interaction between citizens and government institutions. This innovation will save time and resources by reducing the need for physical visits to Pension Fund offices, which is particularly valuable given current challenges. This initiative is expected to improve the quality of public service and ensure greater accessibility of pension services for Ukrainians.
