The Necessity of Providing the Inspection Act
The Pension Fund of Ukraine has reported the necessity of providing the Inspection Act of material and household conditions for receiving benefits, subsidies, and social assistance. This new requirement concerns five specific cases in which individuals must provide this document to receive corresponding social services.
According to the information provided by the Pension Fund, the Inspection Act is necessary for the Register of individuals entitled to benefits. Moreover, it will be required for:
- the assignment of housing subsidies,
- monthly monetary assistance for the care of a person with disabilities of the I or II group,
- assistance for children of single mothers,
- the provision of state social assistance to low-income families.
It is important to note that the form of the Act is approved by the order of the Ministry of Social Policy dated July 4, 2022, No. 190.
Housing Subsidies and Criteria for Refusal
Regarding housing subsidies, they are assigned if the costs for utility services exceed the established mandatory payment. However, it should be considered that there are criteria for refusal in the assignment of subsidies. In particular, refusals may be received by individuals if:
- the area of housing exceeds 130 square meters for apartments or 230 square meters for private houses,
- the existence of large financial operations within a year or more than one housing unit may be grounds for refusal.
Thus, compliance with the new requirements of the Pension Fund of Ukraine will be an important step for those who wish to receive social benefits and assistance. Individuals who fall under the specified categories should pay attention to the necessity of preparing and submitting the Inspection Act within established deadlines. This innovation may significantly affect the accessibility of social services for vulnerable segments of the population, particularly for low-income families and persons with disabilities. Proper preparation of documents will help avoid delays in receiving social assistance and ensure the realization of rights to benefits.
