Ukrainians with a pension of less than ten thousand hryvnias will receive an allowance. This was announced by the press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

People of retirement age (from 65 years old) who have sufficient work experience can expect pension payments of at least 40% of their previous salary. If the pension amount is lower than this indicator, the Pension Fund will independently make up the difference to the required level.

Age allowances are as follows:

  • for citizens aged 70-74: 300 hryvnias

  • for citizens aged 75-79: 456 hryvnias

  • for citizens aged 80 and over: 570 hryvnias

Only those pensioners whose total amount of pension is less than 10,340.35 hryvnias are entitled to receive these allowances.

Veterans of labor have a pension equal to double the minimum pension amount.

There is no need to submit separate applications to the Pension Fund for these allowances - all calculations and payments are made automatically.

Earlier, it was reported who will receive allowances for childcare.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved pension allowances for Ukrainians with small pensions, which will help improve the financial situation of this category of citizens. Additional payments will help reduce the financial burden on vulnerable segments of the population and support decent living conditions for the elderly in Ukraine.
