The PFU press service reported that by June 10, 2026, Ukrainians need to transfer their work books to electronic format, especially those who started working before 2004.

The electronic accounting of work experience will help avoid data loss and physical damage, as well as automate the pension calculation process, simplifying access to social services.

According to Ukrainian law, the digitization of work documents must be completed on time to avoid potential problems in the future.

Special attention should be paid to records of work before 2004, which often exist only in paper form.

Citizens can track the digitization process through the online portal of the Pension Fund, and employers will have access through the insurer's cabinet. The status 'Completed' indicates successful completion of the process, while other statuses indicate active review of documents.

After the transition period, paper work books will become obsolete, and pensions will only be calculated based on electronic records.

Ukrainians are recommended to check the status of their document digitization and keep all confirmations of their submission until receiving the status 'Completed' to ensure pension payments in the future are received without problems.

The Pension Fund is obliged to provide citizens with correct and timely payments.
