Ukrainian pensioners can receive monthly additional payments to their main pension if they belong to certain categories. According to the legislation, citizens aged 65 and older with the required insurance experience can count on a minimum payout of at least 40% of the average salary. If the actual pension is below this figure, the Pension Fund automatically provides an additional payment without additional requests from recipients.
Additional payments depending on age
Additional payments are established based on the age of the pensioners. Thus, individuals aged 70 to 74 receive an additional 300 hryvnias per month, from 75 to 79 years – 456 hryvnias, and 570 hryvnias for those aged 80 and older. However, such payments are only provided for those whose total pension amount does not exceed 10,340.35 hryvnias.
Benefits for labor veterans
Specifically for labor veterans, a preferential pension amount is established at double the minimum indicator. All bonuses and additional payments are assigned automatically and do not require additional appeals to the Pension Fund.
