The Security Service of Ukraine and the Office of the Attorney General uncovered schemes for the illegal transportation of draft evaders abroad, organized by a deputy of the Volyn Regional Council. According to information from the portal 'Glavkom', the deputy is accused of forging documents to transport people abroad under the false pretext of delivering humanitarian aid.

For 'services,' the criminals demanded up to $5 thousand from each 'client.' A total of over 100 draft evaders were transported abroad during the operation.

The deputy has been notified of suspicion of involvement in criminal activity under the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This may lead to a sentence of up to twelve years in prison with asset confiscation. He was charged with forming a criminal group, obstructing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and illegally crossing the state border.

The State Bureau of Investigations identified and halted a large-scale scheme to evade mobilization in one of the district TCC and SP in Zaporizhia. Over 1,500 people evaded conscription over two years due to corruption and document forgery.

The main mechanism of the scheme involved bribes from TCC employees for issuing fake certificates of appearance to military authorities, which allowed individuals to avoid military service. Such actions seriously complicated the work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military structures.
