The Ministry of Health has reported that the first 76,000 doses of the flu vaccine produced in Korea (batch Q60225002) have successfully passed state quality control. The State Drug Service has issued a positive conclusion on the vaccine's compliance with state and international quality standards. The vaccine will soon be available for sale at medical institutions and pharmacies.

The government emphasized that all vaccines brought to Ukraine undergo mandatory laboratory quality control conducted by the State Drug Service. Currently, another 100,667 doses of the flu vaccine produced in France are under state quality control. After successful verification, they will also be available for sale. The Ministry of Health reminded that respiratory viral infections (colds) are often mistakenly referred to as 'flu'.

Flu and COVID-19 differ in the dynamics of disease development, symptoms, and potential complications. Therefore, the most effective method of flu prevention remains annual vaccination.

According to the Ministry of Health, the first batches of flu vaccines have successfully passed quality control and their arrival at medical institutions and pharmacies is expected.
