History of the Car
The Benetton-Ford B192, designed by Rory Byrne, is the last winning car with a classic six-speed manual transmission. Schumacher raced this chassis at four more races in the 1992 season. Chassis 05 was stored in the Renault Classic collection in Enstone, and in 2015 the car passed into private hands. After that, the car underwent a complete restoration, including a rebuild of the Ford Cosworth engine and gearbox.
