Autumn officially arrives in Ukraine on September 22 with the first snowfall reported in the Carpathian Mountains, where temperatures have fallen to -1°C. Kyiv will experience mostly cloudy skies with occasional breaks and light to moderate rain.

A thin layer of snow has already settled on the chapel roof at the mountain’s summit. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, central and southern areas of Ukraine should prepare for moderate rain, with light showers possible during the day.
Temperatures in western Ukraine, as well as in Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions, will hover between 10°C and 15°C. The east and southeast are expected to be warmer, with highs reaching 19°C to 24°C, while most other parts of the country will see temperatures between 12°C and 17°C. In Kyiv, temperatures will range from 13°C to 15°C amid cloudy skies and some rain, while the Kyiv region will experience slightly warmer conditions between 12°C and 17°C.
