According to residents, when the shelling began, Josya’s nephew attempted to flee and locked the house, leaving the dog inside.
“When the shelling started, his nephew locked the house and tried to save himself, but Josya remained inside,” said Oleksandr, a local resident of Vyshneve.The dog was able to escape thanks to the blast wave shattering the windows.
“The explosion shattered the glass in the windows, which helped Josya get out of the house,” Oleksandr noted.
The attack resulted in casualties and injuries among people, with residential buildings damaged by Russian artillery. On July 6, a large fire also broke out at warehouse facilities in Vyshneve.
