Ukrainians need to digitize their employment records by June 10, 2026, otherwise, this may lead to a loss of insurance experience and part of pension payments.
According to law No. 1217, introduced into the Labor Code of Ukraine, e-employment records are being implemented.
For confirming experience before 2004, the employment record is particularly important, as the Pension Fund started maintaining electronic records from that time. If the paper document is not converted to electronic format, difficulties may arise in confirming work experience.
To check and digitize the employment record, you can use the web portal or the mobile application 'Pension Fund' and it is essential to check the accuracy of the entered data in the electronic system.
The risks of losing experience and its impact on pension payments are especially relevant for those who worked before 2004, had unofficial employment, did not pay insurance contributions, or have errors in the records of their employment records. In case of loss of the record, experience can be confirmed with other documents.
Failure to digitize the employment record may lead to a loss of part of pension payments, as the minimum insurance experience is crucial for receiving a pension. Therefore, it is important to seek help in a timely manner and properly digitize the data.
