Yesterday, under the leadership of Oleksiy Kuleba, an expanded meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for evacuation and response to the mass displacement of the population took place. One of the main points was the evacuation of 105 children along with their parents from two villages in the Zaporizhzhia region due to the difficult security situation.
Over the past six months, more than 127,000 people have been evacuated from frontline areas in Ukraine, including more than 15,000 children and over 4,000 persons with limited mobility. A large part of the evacuees is from the Donetsk region. To ensure the escort of people, 20 transit centers are operational, and a bus logistics hub has been organized in the Kharkiv region.
Ukraine continues to address the problem of evacuating the population from dangerous zones, ensuring their safety and necessary assistance. The authorities' efforts are aimed at maximizing the protection of citizens, especially children and people with disabilities.
