During the trial for the murder of politician Andriy Parubiy, the suspect shocked the audience with his confession of guilt. He admitted his guilt, explaining that the crime was an act of personal revenge against the Ukrainian authorities.

'No, this is my personal revenge against the Ukrainian authorities,' the suspect stated.

The man confirmed his involvement in the crime but refused to explain the details. He also denied any pressure from Russian special services, which, according to him, did not influence him due to the tragic death of his son.

'This is not true and there was no blackmail,' the suspect asserted.

The suspect again expressed his desire to find his son's body, asking to exchange him for prisoners of war after the court's verdict.

'I want to ask to be exchanged for prisoners of war so that I can go and find my son's body,' he said.

The suspect explained that he chose Parubiy as a victim situationally, thus expressing his protest against the Ukrainian authorities through a symbolic figure. After that, he refused to make any further comments.
