A meeting was held in Kharkiv with the heads of frontline regional state administrations, community leaders, and representatives of relevant ministries, where further steps and the implementation of the Support Program for frontline territories were agreed upon. The program currently covers 240 communities across 10 regions of the country. More than 30 areas of assistance are being implemented - from security and protection of critical infrastructure to business support and the provision of social services.

Communities received 1.7 billion UAH in additional funding for the protection of critical infrastructure and the arrangement of shelters. Another 4.7 billion UAH was allocated for the construction of protective structures in schools. Frontline regions additionally received over 760 million UAH for repairs of important roads, support for communal enterprises, and the connection of cogeneration. 936.6 million UAH was allocated to replenish fuel reserves. We are implementing the "eOselya" program for internally displaced persons - the state compensates 70% of the first installment, 70% of monthly payments during the first year of lending, and up to 40,000 UAH for the reimbursement of associated costs.

Support for the population

A cash assistance of 19,400 UAH for the purchase of solid fuel for people in frontline communities and IDPs has also been introduced. This has been used by 273,000 households - almost half a million people. Another 290,000 people received compensation for the cost of 100 kWh of electricity during the winter period, amounting to 180 million UAH.

Support for businesses also remains one of the key areas. The biggest demand in frontline communities is for insurance against military risks. The mechanism will come into effect on January 1, 2026, providing entrepreneurs with a clear tool.

Measures to support frontline communities and the population continue in Kharkiv, providing assistance and protection of critical infrastructure, road repairs, business support, and social services to vulnerable groups. The introduction of new programs and the allocation of financial resources contribute to improving living conditions in these regions and supporting their development.
