The press service of the PFU has reached out to Ukrainians with a tip on how to confirm their insurance experience for pension entitlement. If you want to receive an insurance pension, you need to have certain documents that confirm your experience. For periods after 2004, information about your experience can be obtained from the register of insured persons in the pension system.
If the labor book is lost, damaged, or contains errors
Recall your labor book, the main document confirming your employment until 2004. If it is lost, damaged, or contains errors, there is no need to panic. You can submit certificates from companies, documents about salary payments, credentials, and other documents to document your work.
- In case of loss of documents or their absence in the register, experience can be confirmed by the testimonies of two individuals who worked with you. It is also important to have documents that confirm work in harmful conditions or when a company is liquidated.
Contact special commissions at the Pension Fund if you have difficulties confirming your experience. They use archival materials for this purpose.
Realizing the importance of confirming insurance experience for receiving a pension is a primary necessity for Ukrainians, as it will help them receive corresponding payments in the future. Following the guidelines of the Pension Fund of Ukraine regarding the confirmation of experience is an essential step in solving this issue.
