Парламент ухвалює рішення щодо підтримки вітрової енергетики: які наслідки це матиме.

The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada is preparing to vote on the extension of preferential imports of equipment for wind power plants for the next year. Serhiy Nahornyak, a member of the Committee on Energy and Housing Services, noted that the preferential conditions that were in place in 2024-2025 proved their effectiveness and contributed to the development of renewable energy.

The parliament also plans to approve a draft law so that in 2026 energy companies can continue to import equipment under special conditions

Nahornyak emphasized that the continuation of tax incentives for wind generation is important, as wind power plants can supply electricity at any time, even during peak loads on the power grid.

It is necessary to ensure cooperation between the parliament, government, and energy companies for optimal solutions regarding tax support

The European Business Association expressed support for the continuation of preferential conditions, which will undoubtedly promote the development of the renewable energy sector in Ukraine.
