Lufthansa pilots have expressed support for the strike due to the Vereinigung Cockpit union's demands for increased pension contributions. The vote showed that pilots are ready for a mass action, but the exact date of the strike has not yet been set - reports the publication 'Glavkom'.

The VC union expressed dissatisfaction with the results of the negotiations and announced a possible strike, which was supported by some Lufthansa and Lufthansa Cargo pilots. A union representative emphasized that pension provision is an essential aspect of pilots' lives and hopes for a serious response from the company's management.

'Pension provision is the foundation for pilots' life planning,' emphasized the union representative. 'Now we expect Lufthansa to hear our opinion and offer adequate conditions for the corporate pension fund.'

Alongside the conflict with pilots, Lufthansa has also made certain changes for passengers to enhance comfort. It is worth noting that the airline has ceased cooperation with all external consultants, which is an unexpected step in Germany's aviation industry.
