Transition from 'conscript' status to 'military liable'
After reaching the age of 25, citizens of Ukraine are supposed to automatically transition from the category of 'conscript' to the status of 'military liable'. However, in practice, this process is often delayed, complicating the process of booking. The status change should occur within 30 days after the 25th birthday, but if this has not happened, it is considered a technical or administrative error.
Procedure for passing the military medical commission
The procedure for passing the military medical commission (MMC) will take about 6 days. It is emphasized that individuals without the status of 'military liable' cannot receive a booking, placing them in a difficult situation. Vladislav Deriy noted that if a person should already have the status of military liable in the database, the territorial recruitment center (TRC) will issue a referral for the MMC. After passing the commission, the status in 'Reserve+' will be updated automatically.
If the status has not been updated, there are several ways to resolve the situation:
- you can contact technical support by sending a request through the 'Reserve+' application;
- it is recommended to send a written request to your TRC and the conscription service (CS) by registered mail asking to update the information in the 'Oberih' registry.
These steps may help expedite the booking process for individuals who have encountered problems with status changes.
Ensuring a proper transition of statuses for military liabilities is an important aspect of military mobilization in Ukraine, especially under conditions of increased military readiness. Incorrect or delayed status changes can lead to legal and technical complications for young men trying to obtain bookings. It is important for relevant authorities to respond promptly to citizens' requests to avoid delays in the mobilization process.
