In Kyiv, there are more than 1,200 heating points and resilience centers prepared, as well as nearly 200 charging points in retail networks. These measures have been taken in response to the massive strike by Russian troops that occurred on January 9. As of 04:40, Kyiv's mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the death of four people and injuries to 19, most of whom were hospitalized.

According to rescuers, fires and damage to residential buildings have been recorded as a result of the attack.
