The Director of the Department of Mine Action of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Serhiy Reva, emphasizes that these elements can explode with a delay, making it dangerous even in seemingly safe conditions.
The leadership of the State Emergency Service calls on citizens to avoid any contact with suspicious items, and in case of finding such elements, to report to the emergency hotline 101. Citizens are advised not to touch, photograph, or move the found items. It is also important to remember that approaching them closer than 100 meters is strictly prohibited to prevent injury or threats to life.
In recent months, the number of cases of discovering cassette elements near drone wreckage has increased, so it is extremely important to follow the guidelines of rescuers and avoid dangerous contact with them.
