Support for Myla Residents After the Tragedy
Resilience Center teams have joined the relief effort for evacuated residents in the village of Myla, Kyiv region. Specialists from the Bucha center are on the ground alongside local teams from Dmytrivka, Bilohorodka, Irpin, Hostomel, Makariv, and Byshiv communities. In Dmytrivka, temporary shelter has been prepared and meals arranged for those displaced. This response is part of a broader national effort to provide immediate, coordinated help to communities in crisis.
Social Assistance and the 'How Are You?' Initiative
Social services, volunteers, charitable groups, and international organizations have all joined in providing aid. Resilience Center staff remain by people's side and continue their work to ensure necessary support. The centers are a priority project of Ukraine's Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity, developed with the Coordination Center of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Mental Health UA initiative. The effort falls under the nationwide mental health program "How Are You?", launched by First Lady Olena Zelenska. The tragedy highlights how essential emergency support is and how important social programs are in helping people rebuild their lives. The involvement of volunteers and international partners also reflects solidarity and a shared willingness to help in difficult times.
The establishment of a nationwide network of resilience centers is a crucial step in supporting citizens affected by the ongoing conflict. These centers not only provide immediate assistance but also play a vital role in long-term recovery efforts, ensuring that communities like Myla receive the necessary resources to rebuild and heal after such tragedies.
