Legendary National Basketball Association (NBA) coach Lenny Wilkens has passed away at the age of 88. He holds the record for most games coached, having been inducted into the Hall of Fame as both a player and a coach.
In 1979, under Wilkens' leadership, the Seattle team won the NBA championship, and the coach was named Coach of the Year in 1994. Throughout his coaching career, he conducted 2,487 games, setting a league record.
