Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of all those whose lives were taken by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Sergey Dudар.
48-year-old sergeant Sergey Dudар died on July 1, 2025, while heroically fulfilling his military duty in the Kupiansk direction. This was reported by

Sergey Mihailovich Dudар was born on September 20, 1976, in Khmelnytskyi region. Later the family moved to Rivne. He studied at school No. 8 and graduated from school No. 19. After the ninth grade, he entered a vocational college. He served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He later continued his studies at the Agrarian College.
At 22, Sergey got married. Together with his wife, he raised two children - a son and a daughter. He worked most of his life in the construction industry and spent some time working at the municipal enterprise 'Rivneoblvodokanal'. Since 2014, he was a member of the public formation 'Som', which ensured security and order in the city.
From the first days of the full-scale invasion, along with his brother Alexander, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 104th territorial defense brigade, 56th battalion. His combat path took him through the Belarusian border, Chasiv Yar, Kherson region, Kharkiv region... On August 12, 2024, he was wounded in the Kupiansk direction, and after treatment, he returned to service.
Unfortunately, 48-year-old sergeant Sergey Dudар died on July 1, 2025, while heroically fulfilling his military duty in the Kupiansk direction. The hero was buried on July 7, 2025, at the Alley of Heroes in the 'Novo' cemetery in Rivne.
Sergey Dudар is a patriot and a hero who gave his life for his homeland. This story is yet another memorable case of countless nameless heroes who sacrificed their future for a free Ukraine.
