Zelensky: Russians will not be able to conduct large-scale military operations due to losses




Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russian troops will not be able to continue large-scale military operations due to significant personnel losses on several fronts. During a press conference with the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, he revealed details about the current situation and plans to end the war.


Sumy direction and strategic plans



According to Zelensky, Russian occupiers chose four main directions for the summer offensive, but the Sumy direction failed due to significant personnel losses. The President emphasized that, thanks to the successful actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russians have lost many personnel and do not have enough forces for mass operations.



Plans for a meeting with Trump and assistance from the USA



Zelensky also announced the approval of the first packages of military assistance from the USA under the PURL program and confirmed work on organizing a meeting with President Donald Trump during his visit to the UN. At the same time, the President warned of possible Russian attacks on Ukraine's critical infrastructure but noted that Ukrainian defense forces are ready to protect the country from such threats.



During the press conference, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed details about the losses of Russian troops on the front, outlined strategic plans to end the war, and announced support from the USA. There was also an emphasis on the readiness of Ukrainian defense forces to protect the country from possible Russian attacks on critical infrastructure.
