The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has purchased 30 evacuation armored vehicles from Canada. They are equipped with a door seam closure system to enhance protection and have armor of level II according to NATO standard STANAG 4569. This equipment will allow the vehicles to withstand explosions, shrapnel hits, and gunfire.
The vehicles are also equipped with night vision cameras, audio communication between the cabin and the medical section, armored packages, as well as Run-flat tires to maintain mobility even in case of damage. Inside, there are mountings for medical equipment and for installing satellite communication.
The delivery of the first vehicles is expected in April 2026, with full delivery planned for June of the following year. This acquisition will be an important step in improving the responsiveness of assistance in case of accidents and emergencies in the field of health protection.
