A sad event has occurred in Kharkiv - the second Karavanske Lake has completely dried up. A video of the dried-up water body was published by city council member Oleksii Stepanenko. This lake was a popular place for recreation, and now only cracks in the dry land remind of its existence.

Oleksii Stepanenko wrote that the loss of the lake has sadly affected the local residents, as for many it was a symbol of childhood and joy. Stepanenko shared his memories of carefree summers when he and his friends jumped into the water, laughed, and enjoyed freedom by this lake.

Although the lake is no longer there, it will forever remain in the hearts of people as a symbol of their childhood and joy. 'For there are places that disappear in space but never disappear in memory,' wrote the deputy.
Besides this sad disappearance of the lake, there has been another blow - due to Russian aggression, five members of one family have already been lost to this inhuman war. The tragedy occurred during an attack on the city. May the memory of the lost lives and the lake forever remain in the hearts of the townspeople.
