Прогноз погоди на 25 лютого: Хмарна атмосфера, дощі зі снігом та небезпечні дорожні умови.

Weather Forecast for February 25th

On Wednesday, February 25th, Ukraine will experience cloudy conditions with a mix of wet snow and rain. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reports that a low-pressure system from a minor cyclone centered over the Sea of Azov will dictate the weather. Air temperatures will be relatively mild, ranging from -2°C at night to +3°C during the day.

Cloud cover is expected across the entire country, accompanied by light wet snow and rain. Moderate precipitation is possible overnight and in the eastern and far southern regions. Fog is forecast for the morning and night hours in most northern, central, and southern areas. Icy glaze is likely to form on roads in many regions, excluding the south.

Conditions in the Kyiv Region

Winds will be predominantly north-westerly at 5-10 m/s. The Kyiv region and the capital city itself will also see cloudy weather with periods of light wet snow and rain. Patchy fog and road icing are possible overnight and in the morning across the Kyiv region. In the city of Kyiv, temperatures will range from 0°C to +2°C, while the broader region will see lows of -2°C and highs of +3°C.

The forecasted conditions may significantly impact transportation, particularly in northern and central Ukraine where fog and ice are expected. Drivers are advised to exercise caution and account for the hazardous road conditions. Such damp and fluctuating weather can also contribute to the spread of seasonal illnesses, a factor for public health considerations.
