Weather in Ukraine on Independence Day
Meteorologist Natalia Didenko shared the weather forecast in Ukraine for the Independence Day holiday, which is celebrated on Sunday, August 24.
According to her, we can expect diverse weather across the country. Rain will occur in the west at night and in the morning, and by day and evening, precipitation will spread to the north and center. The eastern regions will remain dry.
Meanwhile, in the southern part, only brief showers are expected in the evening. The wind will be north-west, moderate, and sometimes gusty.
Air temperature during the upcoming night will be cool: +8+12 degrees Celsius throughout the country, +12+16 degrees in the south and east.
During the day, different temperatures are expected: +19 degrees in the northwest, up to +25 degrees in the south and center, and up to +27 degrees in the southeast.
In Kyiv, it will be dry in the morning and before lunch, but after lunch rain and +18+20 degrees are predicted. Therefore, plan festive walks before noon.
The meteorologist urges all citizens to celebrate the national holiday consciously and with pleasure, as the weather promises to be wonderful.
It is better to prepare for the Independence Day celebration, orienting to different weather conditions in each part of Ukraine. Despite the rain in many regions, it is better to bring an umbrella and enjoy the holiday!
